Bayview Yacht Club in Michigan and its volunteers rolled out the red carpet for the annual Bayview One-Design Regatta. They were rewarded with two great days of sailing and eight races for each of the one-design classes. In the half-dozen J/111 fleet, it was George Edward Kriese’s WILDCAT that won seven of eight races to win with 9 points total. Second went to Seth & Kevin Young’s BLACK SEAL. This family team posted all podium finishes, winning the final race to add to their five seconds and two thirds for 17 points. Rounding out the podium was Brad Kimmel & Steve Young’s DIABLO, also scoring all podium finishes with two seconds and six thirds for 22 points.
