The Warsash Sailing Club (England) concluded the Warsash Spring Series for IRC Racing classes. Four more races were held over the Spring Championship weekend. Winning IRC 1 Division with straight bullets was Paul Griffiths’s J/111 JAGERBOMB with just 5 points net after six races.
Spring Championship IRC 1 Division: Over the two-weekend series from April 20-21 and 27-28, the WSC RC/PRO team managed to run a total of 12 races to the delight of all sailors. Winning by a nine-point margin was Cornel Riklin’s J/111 JITTERBUG with 26 points net. Following them was Paul Griffiths’s J/111 JAGERBOMB with 35 points net and Paul Wollmann’s J/111 FREQUENT FLYER with 42 points net. Fourth was Chris Jones & Louise Makin’s J/111 JOURNEYMAKER II with 57 points net. Sixth was the JOLENE Syndicate’s JOLENE with 81 points net and Dirk van Beek’s J/111 SABRIEL was seventh.
